Woven Carpets

Nylon / Wool / Combination Quality

About Woven Carpets

Our state-of-the-art equipment, unique in our industry, allows our clientele to create custom designs that are different than anything found in airline carpeting today. Patterning capabilities are virtually unlimited, allowing a blend of pattern, texture and color that is restricted only by one’s imagination. Or, if you prefer, we can duplicate your existing pattern and color.

Our nylon pile carpets are woven using continuous filament yarns that are stain-resistant, durable, and meet the FAA/JAA requirements for flame resistance. They also comply with Boeing and Airbus specifications for low-smoke emission. Nylon carpets are more economically priced than wool, and offer the advantage of eliminating the fiber shedding of wool carpets that is inherent in their early life. These carpets are generally 12 feet (3.65 meters) in width, and their woven structure offers exceptional durability and resistance to shrinkage and premature deconstruction.

Occasionally we receive a request for wool pile carpets, particularly for Super First-Class and VIP cabins. Our manufacturer can produce these as well, either in woven or hand-tufted constructions. Wool carpets are both flame-resistant and meet FAA/JAA requirements for low smoke and toxicity. For this reason they have been the preferred product for European airlines for many years.

When you need aircraft carpet, contact us. We can provide you with the best in quality, design and service at prices that fit within your budget or meet the aesthetic requirements for the exceptional aircraft interior.
